All of the tenets of an effective fire response attributed to less property damage at the New Castle Country Club on the morning of Sunday, August 22, 2010. The NTFD received notification of an automatic fire alarm at 4:01 am at the New Castle Country Club. The station was staffed with a full engine company complement due to our shift incentive program. Station 100 was alerted shortly after 9:00 am after being requested by Neshannock Township Police to assist with a motor vehicle crash on Graceland Road. More>>
Station 100 was dispatched for a reported garage fire at 102 Worthington Avenue. A first arriving police officer indicated that there was smoke showing from the garage. Engine 151 arrived first and established a water supply. More>>
The Neshannock Township Water Rescue Team was summoned to an area of the Beaver River in Taylor Township where two canoes had capsized. Two canoeists were able to make it to shore while two others remained in the water clinging to debris. More>>
At 10:52 on 4/29/09, Station 100 was dispatched to assist Station 1100 (New Wilmington) at a structure fire. The building was a former landmark general store that had been converted into a duplex. Engine 152, Truck 157, Tanker 156 and Engine 151 covered the assignment. More>>
