The Neshannock Township Volunteer Fire Company has voted to add a new boat to its water rescue cache of equipment.

The Relief Association voted on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, to purchase a Zodiac MK-III "Grand Raid" boat from USA Services, Inc.  We anticipate delivery of the boat within the next month and placing it in service shortly after that.

This boat is larger than the departments current Mercury boat and will serve as the primary rescue boat.  The Mercury 430-HD will remain in service and serve as a secondary and backup boat.
