Project Description
Engine 153 is the workhorse of the fleet as the first out engine for all fire responses and second out apparatus on all motor vehicle accidents. Delivered in 2012, this Seagrave Marauder II Pumper is 155″ of stainless steel and boasts a 450 HP Cummins ISL Diesel powering a 1750 GPM single-stage pump. This pumper was custom designed with low hose beds carrying over 2000′ of various hoses. Though its primary duty is to pump water, this apparatus was purpose-built as a “multi-tasker” for duty shifts. In addition to its 500 gallons of water, it carries forcible entry, ventilation, and extrication tools.
