Engine 153 serves as a versatile and dependable piece of the Neshannock Township Volunteer Fire Company’s fleet, primarily responding to mutual aid requests and providing additional support during fire emergencies. Delivered in 2012, this Seagrave Marauder II Pumper features a stainless steel body and is powered by a 450 HP Cummins ISL diesel engine with a 1,750 GPM single-stage pump. Custom-designed with low hose beds carrying over 2,000 feet of various hoses, Engine 153 is equipped to handle a wide range of emergency operations. In addition to its 500-gallon water tank, the apparatus carries forcible entry, ventilation, and extrication equipment. Although no longer the department’s first-out engine, Engine 153 continues to play an important role in supporting our community and neighboring departments through mutual aid responses.
